Ubicado en pleno volcán Cotopaxi, a 4800 metros sobre el nivel del mar, es el lugar perfecto para descansar después de la agotadora subida o pasar la noche para continuar el asenso hasta la cumbre la siguiente mañana. Si alguno de los guías esta en el refugio y tienen suerte, podrán comer el mejor canguil de su vida
